Technology based lesson using the book Mailing May
Objective: Through the use of technology, the student will be able to download a trestle picture, save it in Print Shop, and print.
State Standard Correlation:
711.04 Use a variety of resources to produce visuals that communicate through print and nonprint media.
Materials:
Instruction Model: Discover/Inquiry
Process: As a whole class, we will walk to the Cottonwood trestle and take digital pictures. During computer lab, each student will need to download a trestle picture from a floppy disk, save it in Print Shop, and print the picture.
Assessment: The trestle picture will be needed to complete a page in the “bag” book.
