Heart of the Monster
The Nez Perce National Park Heart of the Monster site is located approximately 2 miles east of Kamiah, Idaho off Highway 12. At this site you will find a kiosk. With the push of a button you can listen to the legend of the Heart of the Monster told in both English and Nez Perce. This is the creation legend that tells the story of the origins of the Nez Perce people.
